Participated in the 15th ECOVIS Asia-Pacific Regional Partner Meeting
From April 16 to 18, 2026, the 15th ECOVIS Asia-Pacific Regional Partner Meeting was held in Bali, Indonesia.
On the first day, due to our flight schedule from Japan, we joined the welcome beach dinner partway through the event. It was a pleasure to reunite with members from various countries, who welcomed us warmly as always, allowing us to reconnect in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The second day marked the core sessions of the meeting. Following a host country presentation by ECOVIS Indonesia, a wide range of programs were conducted under the theme of “Strengthening the Network and the Brand.”
These included a panel discussion on ESG services covering the latest topics such as the practical use of AI and the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) regulations. There were also updates on “Legal Vision 2030” and the latest developments in ECOVIS’s global initiatives, including training and academy programs.
One of the most interesting topics was the future development of the ECOVIS Academy. In addition to traditional professional fields, the academy plans to expand its focus to include soft skills, which is expected to make the training programs even more practical and comprehensive.
In the afternoon, presentations were given on the business environments in Indonesia and Vietnam. In particular, a comment from Vietnam highlighting the country’s strategic shift from “being the world’s factory toward smart factory transformation left a strong impression.
In addition, a presentation was delivered by our firm’s representative directors on the current status of client services, facilitating the exchange of insights and experiences with members from other countries.
On the final day, we visited Uluwatu Temple, perched on a dramatic cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean, followed by a closing lunch, which concluded the full program.
This meeting was an extremely valuable opportunity—not only to share the latest industry trends, but also to reaffirm the importance of our cross-border network. We hope to make full use of the knowledge and connections gained through this experience in our future work.
