ECOVIS AKIA Tax Consultants K.K. is a comprehensive professional firm encompassing a tax accountant office, a certified social insurance and labor consultant office, and an administrative scrivener office. We provide multifaceted support for foreign-affiliated companies operating in Japan.
Founded in July 2008 in Yokohama by three partners, ECOVIS AKIA Tax Consultants K.K. originated as an accounting firm established to support the entry of foreign companies into the Japanese market. Since then, we have grown into a consulting firm specializing in services for foreign-affiliated businesses.
With a team of experts from Sato & Akasaki Accounting Office, AKIA LABOR CONSULTANTS (Social Insurance and Labor Consultant Office), and AKIA LEGAL SUPPORT (Administrative Scrivener Office), we provide full support in the areas of accounting and tax, labor and payroll, legal affairs, and corporate administration to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

ECOVIS AKIA Tax Consultants K.K. began its operations in 2008 in Kannai, Yokohama, as an accounting firm dedicated to supporting foreign-affiliated companies in Japan. Thanks to our attentive and personalized service, along with English-language support, we have earned the trust of our clients. As our client base has grown, so has our team of specialists.
Today, we have expanded into a full-service organization offering not only accounting and tax services, but also social insurance and labor consulting, administrative support, banking-related services, and secretarial assistance—providing a true one-stop solution for the diverse needs of foreign companies operating in Japan.
In 2024, we joined ECOVIS International, a global network of accounting, tax, and legal professionals operating in over 90 countries. This affiliation has further strengthened our ability to support clients with international business operations.
Since our founding, our mission has remained the same: to be approachable, bilingual professionals clients can rely on for anything. We aim to continuously enhance our service offerings and grow together with our clients as a comprehensive one-stop service center.
