Company Event Report: Enjoying Autumn Foliage at Sankeien Garden

In the fall of 2025, we held a company event.
We first had lunch at Sakurayama Hotel Gallery Café, a renovated Showa-era house with 70 years of history. The Italian cuisine served in Mashiko pottery (Mashiko-yaki, a traditional Japanese ceramicware) and other artisanal tableware featured fresh vegetables and carefully selected ingredients, offering dishes that were not only visually appealing but also healthy.

After lunch, we visited Sankeien Garden in Yokohama, located nearby. This historic garden, adorned with vibrant autumn leaves, provided a wonderful opportunity for employees to relax and connect before the busy season.

Under clear skies, we strolled through the grounds, enjoying the stunning scenery of red and yellow foliage reflected in the ponds. We were also able to walk along a special trail open only during this season, which offered even more breathtaking views of traditional architecture and autumn colors.

Since some of us usually work remotely, this event allowed for lively conversations among members who rarely meet in person, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Participants shared comments such as, “It was refreshing both physically and mentally” and “It was great to interact while enjoying the seasonal beauty.” Overall, it turned out to be an excellent event for recharging and fostering team spirit.
